Macros, stream setup from USB and media playback

The functions in this overview match the current switcher firmware. The firmware is updated over LAN or from a USB drive and is shown under System › Version.

• Macros: up to 20 macros stored in the switcher; a short press of F1–F6 records a macro, a long press runs it. Each macro runs once or in a loop, and after export to a USB drive you can edit it in a text editor – delays, order, adding and deleting steps.
• Stream setup from a USB drive: server addresses and keys for up to three platforms are loaded from the stream.ini file, and two can be streamed at once. The stream source can be PGM, Clean PGM, PVW, any input or colour bars.
• Playback from disk: the AUX source plays MP4 and TS video from a USB drive, SD card or SATA disk – repeat, loop, speed from −10× to 10×, audio offset ±500 ms and auto-play when switched to PGM or PVW.
• Network sources: up to 10 preset RTSP, HTTP, MP4, M3U8, FLV or SMB addresses entered via stream.ini or the web interface; with optional NDI, NDI|HX3 reception too.
• Files over the network: recordings on attached media, including the built-in SATA disk, can be copied to a computer over SMB without removing the disk.
• Guitar and bass: the XLR/TRS inputs have a Guitar switch that matches the impedance to high-impedance instruments.
• Web control and HTTP API: set up the switcher from a browser and control it from your own systems.
