The Tilta adapter WLC-T06-ARA connects the Nucleus-M II Hand Grip to an ARRI-standard rosette — on a cage, a shoulder rig or a gimbal. The grip screws on with a 3/8"-16 screw, the other side meshes into the rosette with its teeth, and the grip with its wheel, buttons and, if fitted, the Zoom Module becomes the rig's side handle. One adapter serves either the left or the right side; the package holds one, so a pair of grips takes two.
The Tilta ARRI Rosette Adapter brings the Nucleus-M II Hand Grip into the rig wherever ARRI rosettes are: focus, iris or zoom then sit under the fingers of the hand holding the rig, with no separate controller. The same adapter ships in the WLC-T06 (2 pcs) and WLC-T06-K2 (1 pc) kits.
The adapter has a 3/8"-16 screw on one side, which pulls it tight against the Nucleus-M II Hand Grip, and the teeth of an ARRI-standard rosette on the other, which mesh with the counterpart on the cage, shoulder rig or gimbal and hold the grip at the set angle. The design is symmetrical — the same adapter is used for the left or the right grip, it just gets turned around. The adapter is made of ABS plastic, copper, rubber and aluminum alloy.
Nucleus-M II is wireless lens control: motors on 15/19 mm rods turn focus, iris and zoom, the FIZ hand unit or the hand grip with wheel drive them remotely, and power and data run over 7-pin cables. The parts of the WLC-T06 series combine — motor gears, cables, brackets, grip modules and the case all belong to the same system, including this one.
