Tilta Nucleus-M II Extended Mod Motor Gear

The Tilta WLC-T06-MG-08V2 is the extended 0.8 MOD motor gear for the Nucleus-M II motor. It has a larger diameter and 59 teeth instead of 39, so the motor reaches farther — to lenses whose gear ring sits close to the barrel or above protrusions that a standard gear would hit. It replaces the original gear and is swapped with a flat-head screwdriver via the center screw. ABS plastic, black.

The extended 0.8 MOD motor gear solves one specific problem: cinema lenses whose gear ring has little clearance to the surrounding parts. On those, the standard Nucleus-M II motor gear touches the lens barrel before it meshes with the teeth. This part gives the motor reach without changing anything on the rods or the mount.

Larger diameter, longer reach

Compared with the standard 0.8 MOD version, the gear has a larger diameter and 59 teeth instead of 39. The motor therefore reaches farther from the rods and meshes with the gear ring even where there is no room for the motor body between the ring and the lens barrel — typically lenses with short gear ring clearance or protrusions next to the ring. The module stays 0.8 MOD, so the lens gearing does not change and the gear can be swapped back to the original at any time.

Swapped via the center screw

The gear is held on the motor shaft by a single slotted center screw. Loosen it with a flat-head screwdriver, pull the original gear off, then fit and tighten the extended gear the same way. The screw is tight from the factory and the first time may take some force. The gear is black ABS plastic and is intended for the Nucleus-M II motor only.
