Tilta Nucleus-M II 0.8 Mod Motor Gear

The Tilta WLC-T06-MG-08 is the 0.8 MOD motor gear for the Nucleus-M II motor. It replaces the gear fitted at the factory so the motor meshes with lenses that have 0.8 MOD gearing. Swapping it takes one flat-head screwdriver: loosen the center screw, pull the gear off and fit the new one the same way. ABS plastic, black, 39 teeth. The 0.5 MOD version is SKU WLC-T06-MG-05.

The 0.8 MOD motor gear is the replaceable toothed part of the Nucleus-M II motor. The motor ships with a 0.8 MOD gear, which fits most cinema lenses; if your lenses use a different gear pitch you need the gear with the matching module — otherwise the teeth do not mesh cleanly and focus pulls stutter.

Swapped with a single screw

The gear is held on the motor shaft by a single slotted center screw. Loosen it with a flat-head screwdriver, pull the original gear off, then fit and tighten the 0.8 MOD gear the same way. The screw is often very tight from the factory, so the first time may take some force — that is normal. The gear has 39 teeth, is made of black ABS plastic and meshes with 0.8 MOD gearing on the lens or on a Tilta Universal Focus Gear Ring.

Nucleus-M II is wireless lens control: motors on 15/19 mm rods turn focus, iris and zoom, the FIZ hand unit or the hand grip with wheel drive them remotely, and power and data run over 7-pin cables. The parts of the WLC-T06 series combine — motor gears, cables, brackets, grip modules and the case all belong to the same system, including this one.
