Tilta Mounting Bracket for Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit

The Tilta Mounting Bracket WLC-T06-MB is an aluminum cage for the Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit. It replaces the unit's back cover, wraps around it and adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads plus a top NATO rail, so you can put a monitor, an articulating arm or other small accessories on the unit. It also protects the unit's body from scuffs and knocks on set.

The Tilta Mounting Bracket answers where to put the Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit when you don't want to hold it — on a tripod, on an arm, in a focus station with a monitor. The bracket screws directly to the unit's body in place of its back cover and gives it standard mounting points.

A cage around the FIZ Hand Unit

The bracket is shaped exactly to the Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit: remove the four M2.5 screws and the back cover, seat the bracket on the same mounting points and screw it down. The unit sits in it firmly with no play, and the controls, display and battery compartment stay accessible. The back wall carries a row of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for a tripod plate, an arm or a monitor mount.

NATO rail on top, protection around

On top the bracket carries an arm with a NATO rail — the quick interface for monitor mounts, articulating arms and other small accessories. The arm screws on in either of two positions depending on where the rail should point. The aluminum alloy body also covers the edges of the unit, so it takes the scuffs and knocks of a working set without changing how the unit sits in the hand.

The Tilta Nucleus-M II system

Nucleus-M II is wireless lens control: motors on 15/19 mm rods turn focus, iris and zoom, the FIZ hand unit or the hand grip with wheel drive them remotely, and power and data run over 7-pin cables. The parts of the WLC-T06 series combine — motor gears, cables, brackets, grip modules and the case all belong to the same system, including this one.
