Tilta Extended Hand Wheel for Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit

The Tilta Extended Hand Wheel WLC-T06-EHW replaces the standard hand wheel of the Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit with a larger diameter. The hand holds it more comfortably and securely, focus moves are finer, and marks on the ring can be read from further away. The wheel physically accepts ARRI-standard white focus rings, so it suits anyone already working with them.

The Tilta Extended Hand Wheel is a larger hand wheel for the Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit. It goes on in place of the standard wheel: align it with the locating pin, push until it clicks in, and tighten the three safety screws spaced around the rim with the included 2 mm Allen key.

Larger diameter, finer focus pulls

A larger circumference means the fingers travel further for the same angle of rotation — focus pulls become finer and more deliberate, without jerky corrections. The wheel sits more comfortably in the hand even on long takes, and marks written on the ring are bigger and easier to read, whether you shoot on the move or in a dark studio. The wheel is aluminum alloy in Space Gray, matching the unit.

ARRI-standard focus rings

The wheel takes ARRI-standard-size white focus rings — align the ring with the locating pin and push until it seats. Anyone who already has rings with their own marks does not need to remake them. This is mechanical compatibility: the Nucleus-M II firmware does not electronically support pre-marked disks, so marks on the ring are made by hand, just as on the follow focus marking disk.

The Tilta Nucleus-M II system

Nucleus-M II is wireless lens control: motors on 15/19 mm rods turn focus, iris and zoom, the FIZ hand unit or the hand grip with wheel drive them remotely, and power and data run over 7-pin cables. The parts of the WLC-T06 series combine — motor gears, cables, brackets, grip modules and the case all belong to the same system, including this one.
