Portkeys HD7H

The Portkeys HD7H is an affordable 7-inch camera monitor with 1,000 nits of brightness, an HDMI input supporting up to 4K30p, and basic professional tools for checking focus, exposure, and composition. Weighing 278 g and powered by Sony NP-F batteries, it’s ideal as a primary monitor for aspiring creators or as a secondary monitor in a professional setup.

Lightweight 7-inch monitor

The durable ABS and PC body measures 178 × 104 × 25.8 mm and weighs only 278 g. Three 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom and sides allow for mounting on a camera, cage, gimbal, tripod, or tabletop stand.

Daylight-Visible Display

The matte 7" panel with an anti-reflective coating offers 1,000 nits of brightness, 1280 × 720 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 178° viewing angle. Its 75% Rec.709 coverage is ideal for previewing composition, focus, and exposure.

HDMI, AV, and Audio Control

A full-featured HDMI input supports DCI 4K up to 24p, UHD 4K up to 30p, and Full HD up to 60p. The monitor also features an AV/audio input, a 3.5mm headphone output, a USB-A port for firmware updates, and a built-in speaker.

Power for All-Day Use

The built-in battery compartment accepts Sony NP-F batteries. External power is supplied via a 5.5mm DC connector with a range of 7.4–24 V. The monitor’s power consumption is approximately 10 W.

Quick physical controls

The top panel features two user-assignable buttons, a power switch, menu controls, and navigation buttons. This allows you to access the most important functions without having to search through the menu.

Monitoring Tools

Available features include focus peaking, image zoom, luma histogram, false color, grids, crosshairs, guide frames, image flip, and anamorphic de-squeeze at 1.33×, 1.5×, 2.0×, or a custom ratio ranging from 0.25× to 4.00×.
