Portkeys LS7P

The Portkeys LS7P is a rugged 7-inch touchscreen monitor with a 10-bit Full HD panel, 1,000-nit brightness, HDMI and 3G-SDI interfaces, and wireless camera control. Its aluminum housing, professional monitoring tools, and cross-conversion capabilities make it a versatile choice for film and studio setups.

Durable monitor with a crisp 7" display

The 1920 × 1080 display, with 1,000 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and 10-bit color depth (8+2 FRC), is easy to read both indoors and outdoors. Each monitor is factory color-calibrated. The aluminum body weighs approximately 409 g.

HDMI, 3G-SDI, and Cross-Conversion

The LS7P accepts HDMI up to DCI 4K30 and 3G-SDI up to 1080p60. It offers both HDMI and SDI outputs, SDI-to-HDMI conversion, and 3D LUT support on both outputs, making it easy to integrate into hybrid production setups.

Convenient Control and Mounting

Four assignable buttons provide quick access to tools. Three 1/4"‑20 threads with locking points allow for mounting in various positions. A USB‑A port is used for firmware updates and LUT import, and a 3.5mm output is provided for audio monitoring.

Dual Power Supply and Pass-Through Power Output

The monitor can be powered by a Sony NP‑F battery or a lockable 7–24 V DC input. The NP‑F swivel plate also offers 8 V / 10 W pass-through power for a wireless video receiver and helps keep the setup compact.

Complete set of monitoring tools

MOVNORM OS includes 3D LUT, anamorphic de-squeeze, peaking, zoom, waveform, vectorscope, histogram, zebra, ARRI, and custom False Color, audio meters, guides, and tools for vertical video. Custom LUTs can be loaded via USB.

Log Stops for More Precise Exposure

The Log Stops tool works with the exposure levels of the camera’s logarithmic signal. Individual zones can be displayed as false color or zebra patterns, allowing you to quickly assess headroom in highlights and shadows.

Wireless Control of a Wide Range of Cameras

The LS7P supports control of select ARRI, RED, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Sony, and Panasonic cameras. Depending on the specific model, you can adjust the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, ND filter, white balance, and focus directly on the touchscreen.

Touch Focus and One-to-Many System

On compatible cameras, you can move the focus point by touching the monitor. One main monitor can wirelessly control up to four additional compatible Portkeys monitors within a range of approximately 50 m, simplifying multi-camera shoots.
