The DJI RS 4 Pro Combo (2026) is a professional three-axis gimbal for mirrorless and cinema cameras with lenses up to 4.5 kg, bundled with the DJI SDR Transmission wireless video system (transmitter and receiver) and the DJI Focus Pro Motor. Stabilization, motorized focus, monitoring on a screen up to 2 km away and remote gimbal control all come in one case.
The 2026 edition pairs the flagship RS 4 Pro gimbal with DJI SDR Transmission and the Focus Pro Motor – stabilization, transmission and control in one kit.

The kit includes both the DJI SDR Transmission transmitter and receiver. They carry 1080p video at up to 60 fps over up to 2 km with 35 ms latency (excluding camera and screen). The transmitter takes SDI or HDMI and is powered directly by the gimbal; the receiver feeds a monitor via SDI, HDMI or USB-C.
The kit includes the DJI Focus Pro Motor with a 15 mm rod mount and a focus gear strip. You control focus with the dial on the gimbal grip; with a second Focus Pro Motor the joystick drives zoom while the dial handles focus.
Carbon fibre axis arms carry mainstream mirrorless and cinema camera setups with lenses up to 4.5 kg. The motors have 20% more torque, so the gimbal keeps power in reserve once balanced.
The automated axis locks have smaller gaps, so the gimbal shakes less when locked. The touchscreen locks itself automatically while shooting to prevent accidental touches and keeps showing the gimbal and joystick modes in a low-brightness state.
The BG30 battery grip (1950 mAh, 30 Wh) runs for up to 13 hours and recharges in about 1.5 hours with a 24 W charger. With the optional DJI RS BG70 high-capacity battery grip the runtime extends to up to 29 hours.
The original RS 4 Pro Combo came with the Ronin Image Transmitter with a 100 m range (CE). The 2026 edition replaces it with the DJI SDR Transmission system, transmitter and receiver, with a range of up to 2 km (CE).
Simply release the horizontal plate and lock it in the vertical position. Vertical shots need no extra accessories.
Car Mount mode tunes the stabilization to vehicle vibration and wind resistance, keeping the shot steady even when filming from a moving car.
The gimbal controls the camera shutter and zoom wirelessly over Bluetooth. The joystick can be switched to zoom control – Power Zoom on PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom.

In Control mode the receiver lets you operate the gimbal remotely (Force Mobile, virtual joystick, recentering); in Broadcast mode the image goes to an unlimited number of receivers. A phone or tablet can also connect to the transmitter over Wi-Fi in the Ronin app without a receiver. When the transmitter is mounted on the gimbal with the adapter plate, ActiveTrack and the native vertical setup are not available.

The roll axis has dual rolling bearings and all three axes have a low-friction Teflon coating, so even heavy cameras balance smoothly. A fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis moves the camera forward or backward with millimetre precision, and a placement guide on the upper quick-release plate stops it loosening or shifting.
