Tilta Battery Plate to DJI RS 4 Power Pass-through Plate Kit - V Mount

The Tilta Power Pass-through Plate for DJI RS 4 replaces the original sled of the DJI gimbal and brings power under the camera. V-Mount, Gold Mount and a pair of Sony NP-F batteries all fit below it, and the plate provides two P-Taps, a 2-pin LEMO and 45 W USB-C. The centre of gravity drops, which helps the gimbal with long lenses. This set already includes the V-Mount battery plate (TGA-PPP-V), so there is nothing to buy separately.

The DJI gimbal ships with a sled that can only hold the camera. This plate replaces it and adds power: a battery under the camera, outputs for camera and accessories, and a lower centre of gravity into the bargain. The original sled comes off by releasing the height lever, and the new plate secures the same way.

The battery under the camera, not behind it

The plate replaces the original gimbal sled and offers room underneath for a battery plate — V-Mount, Gold Mount or a pair of Sony NP-F. The battery then sits under the camera instead of behind it, the centre of gravity drops and the gimbal has an easier job, particularly with a longer lens.

P-Tap, LEMO and 45 W USB-C

Power outputs are two 14.8 V P-Taps, one 2-pin LEMO and USB-C at 45 W (20 V / 2.25 A). The camera runs off a dummy battery, accessories connect directly. The 2-pin LEMO can also serve as an input, so the plate can be fed from an external source with a 2-pin cable — that cable is not included.

Manfrotto on top, cold shoe below

The Manfrotto receiver on top keeps the original DJI form, so the original DJI quick-release plate fits as well as the extended Tilta plate. Underneath is a cold shoe for the DJI RavenEye, wireless transmitters or accessory brackets. Front-to-back balance is trimmed with a fine-tune knob and a spring-loaded safety pin secures the camera.

For RS 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 and RS 4 Pro

The plate is aluminum alloy, measures 159 × 64.7 × 17.3 mm and is black. It fits the DJI RS 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 and RS 4 Pro gimbals.
