Tilta Dovetail Plates for Hydra Alien Pro

The Tilta HDA-T18-DP Hydra Alien Pro Dovetail Plates (Black) are a pair of precision-machined, quick-release dovetail plates designed exclusively for the Hydra Alien Pro vehicle shock-absorbing system. They enable fast, secure mounting of standard Arri-style dovetail baseplates and allow rapid switching between gimbals, tripods or other support platforms while maintaining perfect balance and rock-solid stability during high-speed car-mount shoots.

The HDA-T18-DP dovetail plates replace the default quick-release system with industry-standard Arri dovetail compatibility. CNC-machined from lightweight yet extremely strong aluminum alloy and finished in durable black anodizing, each plate features spring-loaded safety locks and dual locating pins for zero play when locked. One plate mounts permanently to the bottom of the gimbal/cage, while the receiver plate attaches to the Hydra Alien Pro arm head, allowing cinematographers to snap the entire camera rig on and off in seconds—ideal for moving quickly between vehicle, tripod, or handheld configurations without re-balancing.
