The Tilta Mini PD V Mount Battery Plate V2 Power Cable Kit is a small V-Mount battery plate with USB-C PD 60 W, P-Tap and two-pin LEMO outputs, to which the kit adds a right-angle 100 W USB-C cable (35 cm). The Tilta Mini PD V Mount Battery Plate V2 Power Cable Kit is a kit for anyone who wants to power the camera and accessories from a large V-Mount battery and be certain at the same time that the battery will not come loose on a car mount or a crane. The V2 plate has slots for a security strap, a 15 mm rod adapter and, in this kit, a 100 W USB-C cable too.

USB-C PD 60 W, P-Tap and two-pin LEMO

The plate carries one V-Mount battery and distributes it through three outputs: USB-C with Power Delivery up to 60 W for a camera or monitor powered over USB-C, P-Tap 14.8 V for accessories with a P-Tap cable, and a two-pin LEMO. The kit includes a right-angle USB-C cable rated for 100 W and 35 cm long — exactly the distance from the plate to the camera in a cage.

15 mm rod adapter and security strap

The included dual 15 mm rod adapter puts the plate on the rods under the camera or at the back of the cage. What sets the V2 apart are the side slots through which the included security strap is threaded to wrap the V-Mount battery — the plate then will not let go of the battery even under vibration, which matters on car mounts, cranes and anywhere a loose battery would mean a dropout mid-shot.

1/4"-20 and M4 threads on top

The top of the plate has 1/4"-20 and M4 threads, so it can be fixed other than on rods — with an articulating arm, an adapter or straight to the cage. The small plate thus fits rigs without rods too. The kit contains the Tilta Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate V2 (TA-BTP4-V-B) and the 100 W USB-C cable (TCB-USBC-35); all aluminium alloy in black.

Tilta power: V-Mount and Gold Mount

Tilta battery plates have one job: to bring power from a large V-Mount or Gold Mount battery to the camera and its accessories so that battery swaps are kept to a minimum. Every plate comes in both versions — V-Mount and Gold Mount (Anton Bauer) — and distributes power through P-Tap, USB-C and two-pin LEMO outputs, for which Tilta offers power cables for specific cameras, monitors and video transmitters.
