Sound Devices SL-2

New accessory for 833, 888 and Scorpio mixers/recorders. It is the first product in an upcoming line of SuperSlot-based add-ons and brings support for wireless, multi-channel audio (four channels/slot). It supports wireless receivers with UniSlot and SuperSlot interfaces from manufacturers such as Audio Ltd, Lectrosonics, Wisycom and Sennheiser and mounts directly to the top panel of the recorders.

The recorder provides power for both the SL-2 and the receivers, so there is no need to use additional external power, and the expansion port also supports direct transmission of analogue and digital audio. The rear panel also offers a pair of TA-3 connectors (four additional AES3 inputs) and two 4-pin Hirose power outputs (500 mA max each) for powering additional equipment. Therecorders must be upgraded to FW 6.00as a minimum.
