The Datavideo TLM-170LR is a 17.3-inch Full HD monitor in a 7RU rackmount chassis for production galleries, outside-broadcast vehicles and video-editing suites. It accepts one 3G/HD/SD-SDI signal with a loop-through output and two HDMI sources, with embedded audio supported over both interfaces. On-screen timecode, tally indication, safe-area and aspect markers, underscan/overscan, blue-only display and up to 8× pixel zoom help operators check framing and signal content in a rack-based workflow.

Full HD monitoring in a 7RU rack

The 17.3-inch LED-backlit TLM-170LR brings a 1920 × 1080 picture and practical monitoring tools to a production gallery, OB vehicle or editing suite. Its rack chassis keeps the screen, tally indication and source connections together at the monitoring position.

Connect SDI or HDMI sources, check framing with safe-area and aspect markers, and use the monitor’s built-in picture tools when a closer signal check is needed.

Signal connections

Connect two HDMI sources and SDI

The rear panel provides two HDMI inputs and one 3G/HD/SD-SDI input. The SDI signal can continue through the dedicated loop-through output to another device, so the monitor can be added to a signal path without giving up the onward SDI connection.

Embedded audio is supported over SDI and HDMI. The monitor also provides a front-panel headphone jack for convenient listening at the rack.

On-screen monitoring tools

Check framing, levels and timecode

Use safe-frame and aspect markers to assess composition, switch between underscan and overscan, or magnify an HD picture with pixel zoom up to 8×. Blue-only mode supports a focused picture check, and the display can show on-screen timecode.

Brightness, contrast, colour saturation and LED backlight level are independently adjustable. A selectable colour temperature, bi-colour tally light and 3.5 mm tally input support the monitor’s use at a production position.
