The 12G-CROSS is a small, low-power portable converter encased in a solid robust aluminium case that does not contain a noisy fan, allowing it to be used in almost any environment. Enables either of the HDMI or SDI outputs to be simultaneously sourced from either the HDMI or SDI input or the new 4K scaling engine. The 4K scaling engine can be driven by either the SDI or HDMI input, supports horizontal and/or vertical flipping and can be locked to either the SDI, HDMI or Genlock input. The audio pairs in the SDI and HDMI outputs can be rearranged as required, and it is also possible to convert between Level A and Level B 3G-SDI.
Until the end of July, Grass Valley offers EDIUS Pro 9 as Home Edition. This version only costs 209 EUR ex. VAT and is meant for private users, it cannot be used for commercial purposes. Furthermore, it will not be possible to upgrade from this version. Apart from these restictions, the Home Edition has exactly the same features as the regular full version.
