The HyperCore NEO is a versatile 98Wh 14V Li-Ion battery that inherits the best of the original HyperCore/Mini series (LCD display, high compatibility with chargers, camera communication, hibernation and storage mode, compliance with airline shipping standards, USB, P-Tap) and adds a host of new features including the ability to check battery status via RFID interface directly on mobile phones and the ability to operate with continuous 12A and 16A peak draw, respectively! Available in both V-Mount and Gold Mount variants.

Like other Core SWX batteries, the NEO series uses powerful microprocessor-based automation for battery management for enhanced operational safety and transmission/display of data informing of battery draw and status in viewfinders or camera LCDs. This output can also be monitored on the integrated LCD front panel display of the batteries: it displays, for example, the time remaining based on a notional 30W draw in the event of inactivity, a more accurate estimate based on actual draw, or the time to full recharge during charging. In addition, the NEO series integrates an RFID interface to read the battery status using the VoltBridgeID mobile phone app. But it's not just the new display and RFID interface that the NEO models take from the Helix range, the modular internal design also improves safety in the event of battery drops and makes servicing easier

The NEO batteries also offer the possibility to draw up to 12A continuous or 16A peak! There is also a SmartTap power interface allowing 12V= accessories to be powered from the P-Tap port and also transmit battery data to compatible devices. The USB interface then provides charging of e.g. mobile phones or tablets. And thanks to the wide compatibility with chargers from other manufacturers, you can charge the V-Mount variants with RED or Sony products, or Anton/Bauer in the case of the Gold Mount version
