New 9.6.2 update for Blackmagic ATEM Series overheads brings Visca over IP support for remote camera control on all models ATEM Constellation - Now up to 100 PTZ cameras can be controlled within an IP network! Version 9.6.2 also brings audio output mapping for all Constellation HD models, as well as new multiview (monitoring without or with frame set color; individual de/activation of captions for each view, time code for multiview outputs) and SuperSource functions (frame setup) for HD and 4K variants. Also new is the support of 30 and 60 fps formats for HD, UHD and 8K standards of the ATEM Constellation 8K. The update was demonstrated at IBC and will available for download in the near future.

The TTArtisan brand boasted a pair of new products: a full-frame macro lens 100 mm f/2.8 and a point-and-shoot in the flash socket Dot Sight for easier photography with telephoto lenses. The new TTArtisan Macro 100 mm f/2.8 medium telephoto lens is available for the E/X/Z/RF/L/GFX/EF/F bayonets, offers 2x magnification and a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm, as well as a quality construction including a metal body with four threads in the front allowing the attachment of other accessories (flash socket for mounting lights, etc.).

Sony launch a pair of new camcorders, THE HXR-NX800 a PXW-Z200offering a range of innovations for advanced sports production, live streaming, cultural and social event recording and more. The new HXR-NX800 is the successor to the popular HXR-NX5R, and adds 4K video, an improved lens, Wi-Fi interface and other features, while the PXW-Z200 adds a 12G-SDI interface, time code or MXF support (planned as an update in summer 2025). Both models boast artificial intelligence technology for autofocus with subject recognition, a 1" Exmor RS CMOS sensor and up to UHD 60p/120p video recording (XAVC HS/S/SI/HS Proxy up to 16 Mbps), a 20x Sony G zoom lens (24-480mm f/2.8-4.5), a range of image presets (S-Cinetone, ITU709, 709tone, HLG Live), electronic ND filter (1/4-1/128 ND), a new tilting viewfinder, removable microphone holder and 3.5" bright LCD display, lightweight body (approx. 1.93 kg for HXR-NX800, 1.96 kg for PXW-Z200), HDMI A, USB-C and LAN ports, as well as 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi with streaming (RTMP/RTMPS/SRT) and automatic video upload to FTP servers/cloud. On sale during the second half of September.
