AVMATRIX 16×16 Seamless SDI Matrix Switcher

AVMATRIX MSS1611S is a professional seamless 16×16 3G/HD/SD-SDI matrix switcher with input synchronization, redundant power and network control.

AVMATRIX MSS1611S is a professional 16×16 matrix switcher for routing 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals in broadcast, studio and installed systems. Integrated frame synchronizers allow sources with different resolutions and frame rates to be combined and switched without a black frame.

Sixteen inputs and sixteen outputs

Any of the 16 SDI inputs can be routed to any of the 16 SDI outputs. The unit automatically handles standard SD, HD and 3G-SDI rates and also passes non-standard rates from 270 Mbps to 3 Gbps.

Seamless switching with synchronization

Built-in frame synchronizers align the timing of incoming sources. This is essential when cameras, players and converters use different formats and clean switching without flashes or interruptions is required.

Front-panel and network control

The machined metal front panel provides direct buttons, a rotary selector and a 2.2-inch LCD for routing labels. Larger installations can be controlled from PC software through LAN or RS-422.

Reliability for continuous operation

Dual power connections allow redundant powering and reduce the risk of downtime during critical production.
