AVMATRIX PG4K is a portable test-pattern generator for 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 up to 4K60. It provides built-in and user patterns, multiple SDI outputs, reference synchronisation, 16-channel audio generation and an optional SFP optical output.
12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 pattern generator
Reliable verification of 4K60 signal paths
AVMATRIX PG4K is a portable pattern generator for service, installation and studio infrastructure checks. It supports SD, HD, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 up to 4K60 and optional 12G-SDI optical output via SFP.
Patterns for displays and signal chains
Built-in colour bars, pathology patterns, monochrome fields, ring pattern, time code, frame counter and motion tests help verify colour, grey scale, timing and display behaviour.
SDI, HDMI and optional fibre
PG4K supports 12G-SDI single-link, dual-link and quad-link SQD/2SI, 6G-SDI and 3G-SDI Level A/B, plus HDMI 2.0 output for 4K60. REF input lets it lock to the timing of a studio system.
Custom patterns, audio and mobile use
USB allows custom pattern import or keyboard/mouse control. The generator creates embedded SDI audio up to 16 channels, can be controlled over LAN and includes a built-in battery for field work.
