This beta update adds the ability to edit subclips directly from the timeline, import audio only AAF timelines, and adds new APIs for Python and LUA scripting. In addition, DaVinci Resolve 15 Studio Public Beta 3 adds support for DCP compliant composition naming as well as support for decoding DCP packages with stereoscopic 3D or 96kHz audio content. This update also improves the responsiveness of OpenFX and ResolveFX on-screen controls, and features dozens of general performance and stability improvements.

This software update improves the color and contrast of the LCD screen on the Studio Fiber Converter and provides greater talkback functionality with 3rd party intercom systems. It also improves the response time for SDI camera control via 12G-SDI when used with Blackmagic Studio and Camera Fiber Converters, and includes general performance and stability improvements. When updating to Blackmagic Camera 5.0.2, customers will need to power the Camera Fiber Converter from the camera using the URSA 12V power supply during the update.
