Moment hasjust launched its new anamorphic lenses for smartphones, the Moment Anamorphic Mobile Lens II T-Series! These new cinematic smartphone lenses offer a wide-angle look with distinctive anamorphic distortion, inspired by classic film optics—ideal for epic storytelling and cinematic visual effects. Thanks to its anamorphic compression, this lens transforms standard smartphone shots into a wide-angle cinematic format, complete with a distinctive oval bokeh effect and pronounced horizontal distortions.

As part of the T-Series, these lenses are optimized for modern smartphones and offer high-quality optics and seamless integration for filmmakers seeking professional results on mobile devices.

You can choose between lenses with 1.33x or 1.55x anamorphic compression. You can also choose between the PanaBlue, Gold42, and Natural variants.

The Moment PanBlue is tuned to look authentic, not aggressive—a softer, cleaner blue reminiscent of classic Panavision and Todd-AO lenses, rather than the harsh sci-fi glare of modern optics.

Gold42 is inspired by multi-coated anamorphic lenses with anti-reflective coatings, where blue reflections are significantly suppressed, allowing warmer wavelengths to dominate. The result is a flare that shifts toward shades of amber and gold and responds naturally to the color temperature of the light source.

The Natural anamorphic lens uses highly uniform coatings designed to reflect all wavelengths evenly. Rather than emphasizing colors, it preserves them. Reflections remain neutral—silver, white, or the color of the light source itself.
