Nikon today launched the COOLPIX P1100, a compact digital camera featuring a 125x optical zoom. The expected on-sale date has been set for February 27, 2025.

Designed for photography enthusiasts, the COOLPIX P1100 enables high quality images to be captured using an improved super telephoto lens. The Coolpix P1100 is based on the previous COOLPIX P1000, but offers more advanced features than the COOLPIX P1000. Nikon yesterday announced new features on two laser rangefinders from its COOLSHOT range. The flagship COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED now boasts faster speeds and the mid-range COOLSHOT 50i GII model has a stronger mounting magnet. Both new models also feature brighter OLED screens with a red internal display, improved ergonomics and a new design with a yellow Nikon stripe.
