Tilta NATO Mounting Bracket for Electronic Suction Cup (4.5″)

The Tilta HDA-NMB bracket with a NATO rail bolts onto the Hydra 4.5″ electronic suction cup with four M4 screws. Anything with a NATO clamp then clicks onto the rail — a handle, a monitor, an arm or an accessory holder — and 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads beside it take fixed mounts. The bracket is aluminium alloy, black; a 3 mm Allen key is included.

The Tilta NATO Mounting Bracket is one of three interchangeable brackets for the Hydra 4.5″ electronic suction cup, alongside the Hydra M25 bracket and the multi-functional bracket with a rosette. The top plate carries a NATO rail that takes accessories without tools, plus 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads. It turns the electronic cup into a universal base for small gear on bodywork and glass.

Straight onto the 4.5″ electronic suction cup

The bracket sits on the top face of the Hydra 4.5″ electronic suction cup and is held by four M4 screws. The joint is as rigid as a fixed mount, yet the included 3 mm Allen key takes it apart to swap for another bracket in the range — the Hydra M25 bracket or the multi-functional bracket with a rosette. The cup from any Hydra kit with the 4.5″ electronic cup thus serves several rigs.

NATO rail plus 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads

A NATO rail runs along the top plate: a handle, a monitor arm or a holder with a NATO clamp slides on and locks without tools, just as on Tilta cages. The corners of the plate carry 1/4″-20 threads and the centre a 3/8″-16, so accessories without a NATO clamp screw on too — a magic arm, a ball head or a small monitor. The electronic cup underneath monitors its own vacuum and tops it up when it drops.
