HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G

The HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G is designed for live production and allows you to record up to 8 cameras simultaneously. Record footage for later editing or take advantage of exciting live playback in DaVinci Resolve.

Files are saved in broadcast quality in ProRes format directly to network storage, allowing for very long recording times. The device connects via 100G Ethernet SMPTE-2110, so all 8 video channels run over a single connection. Alternatively, you can add a Blackmagic SDI Expander 8x12G for 12G-SDI. You can also playback all 8 channels, which is great for testing.

The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G is a 2RU SMPTE 2110 broadcast recorder designed for multi-camera live production and high-bandwidth IP workflows. It allows you to record up to eight channels of 10-bit 4:2:2 video at resolutions up to DCI 4K60, with each input saved as a separate ProRes file directly to network storage via dual 100GbE connections. SMPTE ST 2022-7 redundancy ensures uninterrupted recording over two network paths, while support for 16 channels of embedded audio per stream preserves full multichannel audio integrity for post-production.

The device is designed for live production and broadcast environments and allows simultaneous recording and playback of all eight channels, making it suitable for live switching, replays, and post-event editing. The front 2.2" LCD with a precision metal jog wheel and transport controls enables precise clip navigation and monitoring, complemented by a built-in speaker and headphone output for audio monitoring. External control is possible via RS-422, NMOS via RJ45, and USB-C for configuration, while dual AC power, redundant network paths, and the advanced Blackmagic OS ensure reliable operation in demanding conditions.
