HyperDeck Extreme Control adds fast tactile operation for recorders and legacy broadcast VTRs, making archive digitisation easier.

The layout follows professional VTRs with dedicated transport buttons, deck status, timecode and a precise search dial with electronic clutch.

Eight RS-422 outputs and recorder/player selection can control up to eight HyperDecks or compatible legacy broadcast decks.

The premium dial operates in jog and shuttle modes. Its electronic clutch provides end stops in shuttle mode and free rotation for jogging.

HyperDeck Extreme Control extends HyperDeck Extreme with the familiar controls of a professional broadcast deck. Industry-standard RS‑422 can control up to eight units, while the metal jog/shuttle control gives fast access to deck selection, transport modes and precise positioning.
It can also operate legacy broadcast VTRs, set in and out points and perform simple deck-to-deck edits. Combined with HyperDeck Extreme, one operator can continuously migrate older programmes into modern files, including workflows that require standards conversion.
Reference input and output keep equipment synchronised, 1G Ethernet provides network control and USB‑C supports software updates. The panel can be used on a desktop or rack mounted beside a compatible unit.
