The DZOFILM X-tract 18–28 mm T8 360° is a full-frame parfocal macro zoom lens with a 360° rotating periscope for working in tight spaces, product photography, and creative macro perspectives. It covers 18–28 mm at T8–T45, focuses from 0.47 m from the sensor plane, and offers up to 2.1× magnification at 28 mm.

A 360° periscope for moving macro shots
The fixed 360° X‑tract combines a parfocal 18–28 mm T8 zoom with a rotating periscope. It changes angle, horizon and frame orientation in confined spaces without repositioning the complete camera.

6 mm from the subject
A 6 mm minimum working distance and magnification up to 2.1:1 at 28 mm reveal the structure of very small subjects.
Cine control
Parfocal operation, a 300° focus throw, 100° zoom throw and 0.8 MOD gears make precise moves repeatable.
Rotate without losing the composition
The 360° version's dual rotating rings set both the periscope direction and horizon. Rotation, magnification and waterproof reference markings help crews reproduce a shot accurately.
This SKU is the fixed version: it cannot be disassembled and its front section is not interchangeable with detachable kits.
Reach a confined set without a bulky camera move
The slender periscope places the front element between products, miniatures or mechanical parts while the centre of gravity and geared controls remain close to the camera body. Its native PL mount can be used with suitable PL–E and PL–RF adapters.
For longer moves the rig can run on a slider or robotic arm; the rear-biased balance helps reduce unwanted shake.
Zoom instead of changing the lens
The 18–28 mm range changes subject size and perspective in a tight space without withdrawing the probe from the set. Focus remains locked while zooming, with the highest magnification available at 28 mm.

Built for demanding shots
The aluminium body is rated IP57, tested from −30 to 70 °C and uses a hydrophobic coating on the front optical element. The probe can be submerged to a depth of up to 28 cm; always follow the procedures and limits in the manual before use.
