Product description
The DZOFILM X-tract 18–28 mm T8 0° is a full-frame, parfocal, direct-view macro zoom probe designed for detailed product shots, liquids, miniatures, and work in confined spaces. It offers a focal length range of 18–28 mm at T8–T45, focusing from 0.47 m from the sensor plane, and up to 2.1× magnification at 28 mm.
A Direct View into the Microscopic World
The X-tract 18–28 mm T8 0° combines a direct probe, a parfocal zoom, and a full-frame image circle. Its slim front element fits where a standard macro setup cannot, allowing you to transform minute details into a three-dimensional cinematic shot.
Focus is maintained while zooming. A 300° focus travel and 0.8 MOD gear teeth facilitate precise operation with follow focus and motors.

Focusing from 0.47 m from the sensor plane, working distance from the front 6 mm, and 2.1× magnification at 28 mm.
Optics and Construction
The 0° version uses 25 elements in 18 groups, including seven high-refractive-index lenses and six ED lenses. The manufacturer specifies distortion control within ±2% and minimal focus breathing around 24 mm.
The waterproof section of the probe allows for submersion up to 28 cm; a double-sided hydrophobic UV filter and an O-ring are included in the design for more demanding shots.
