The DZOFILM X-tract 18–28 mm T8 90° is a full-frame parfocal macro zoom probe with a right-angle periscope for shooting just above surfaces, inside objects, and in places where a straight probe cannot fit. It offers a focal length range of 18–28 mm at T8–T45, focusing from 0.47 m from the sensor plane, and up to 2.1× magnification at 28 mm.
A Right-Angle View for Impossible Shots
The X-tract 18–28 mm T8 90° offers a right-angle periscope perspective that can be rotated for precise composition alignment. It’s ideal for product shots, tabletop photography, and macro shots in tight spaces, under edges, or just above the water’s surface.
The parfocal design maintains sharpness when zooming; the 300° focus travel and standard 0.8 MOD gear ratio integrate seamlessly into a cine workflow.

Focusing from 0.47 m from the sensor plane, working distance from the front element of 6 mm, and 2.1× magnification at 28 mm.
For shooting around the subject
The 90° version uses 26 elements in 19 groups and a square front filter measuring 37.7 × 30.58 mm. The prism design and rotation expand the possibilities for guiding the probe around the subject without changing the camera settings.
Images from the 90° version require a mirror flip. Magnification markings, waterproof lines, and a rotation scale facilitate repeatable setup.
