RØDE Announces New Wireless Microphone System Wireless PRO! Despite its extensive feature set, the Wireless PRO has the same pocket-sized footprint as the rest of RØDE's compact wireless range, with a new sleek aesthetic in black. It comes in a dual-channel kit with two transmitters and a receiver, and uses RØDE Series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission and a patented codec with near-zero latency and 128-bit encryption to deliver great sound and stable transmission at distances up to 260m (line-of-sight). It offers a range of advanced features including 32-bit internal recording for maximum session quality backup to 32GB internal memory for over 40 hours of recording. Atomos has introduced the latest generation of Ninja monitors/recorders: Ninja a Ninja Ultra! A key component of both new models is a completely redesigned AtomOS 11 operating system with a clearer menu structure, faster speeds and a host of new features including the EL Zone exposure tool, ARRI False Color display and new tools for scheduled playback and recording. Both models have a distinctive polycarbonate body and now offer multiple codecs as standard: 6K ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD and also H.265, which was previously available as a paid extension. The Ultra variant adds dual recording (to ProRes RAW up to 4Kp60 and H.265 HD 60p at the same time) plus file name matching, timecode and recording from ARRI, Canon and RED cameras. By adding the Atomos Connect expansion module to the new Ninja or Ninja Ultra models, it will be possible to use Atomos RemoteView - an all-new technology that allows you to wirelessly share live views from your Atomos monitor screen with other Atomos monitors, as well as iPads, Macs and Apple TV! The new generation Atomos Ninja will be on sale from September 2023 for €599 or €799 excluding VAT.
