A 5-pin XLR talkback connector keeps the camera crew connected to the control room. This is the optical SFP version: it requires a suitable 10G optical SFP module and fiber link, not a copper PoE port.
This compact bidirectional converter connects a 12G‑SDI studio camera and program return to an IP workflow up to Ultra HD 2160p60. Its optical 10G SFP slot suits long, interference-resistant fiber runs.


The bidirectional design is ideal for cameras: one direction carries the camera feed and the other the program return. The 5-pin XLR connector provides talkback between the camera operator and control room without a separate communications converter.
This exact model has a slot for an optical 10G SFP module. The SFP module and fiber are not supplied; choose them for the required run and compatibility. This model does not use power over copper Ethernet/PoE.

The Blackmagic 2110 IP family integrates SDI equipment into SMPTE ST‑2110 IP video infrastructure. Transport includes 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data; PTP provides a common clock and NMOS enables routing in larger managed IP systems.
