Blackmagic 2110 IP converters integrate SDI equipment into SMPTE ST‑2110 infrastructure. The standard defines transport, synchronization and description of 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data over IP. A converter can re-synchronize SDI to PTP and supports SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60. In a network, connections can be controlled through NMOS as a virtual router; simple installations can also operate point-to-point without a complex Ethernet switch.

10G Ethernet enables compact, efficient IP products. For uncompressed 10-bit Ultra HD above 30 fps, the range uses the open Blackmagic IP10 codec with 8-sample low latency and no licence fee. This copper model uses RJ‑45 10G Ethernet and supports remote PoE++ power.
