Accurate timing and convenient monitoring

The front panel has a 2.2″ LCD display, three buttons, a spin knob, a speaker and a 6.35 mm headphone output; USB-C is used for setup and updates. The reference input and output allow built-in re-sync.

Uncompromised conversion in a live chain

A 12G-SDI input with loop output, two SDI outputs, HDMI 2.0 input and output and 10G Ethernet give you the freedom to link sources across the infrastructure. SDI works at SD, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G rates; for 2160p59.94 and 2160p60 the converter uses the Blackmagic IP10 codec.

For control rooms and OB trucks

The compact chassis, one third rack wide and 1U high, fits next to other converters. It is controlled from the front panel, over Ethernet from REST client applications or via USB-C with software for macOS and Windows.

Linking traditional and IP infrastructure

The converter suits live production and television broadcast: it connects existing SDI equipment to SMPTE ST-2110 systems and works with common HD and Ultra HD television standards over a single 12G-SDI BNC cable.

The IP stream carries 16 channels of embedded audio, SDI works with 16 channels and HDMI with 8 channels of embedded audio. The converter has access to ST 2110-40 ancillary data including RP 188/SMPTE 12M-2, closed captioning and HDR static metadata.
