Picture, audio and calibration checks

The built-in 2.2″ LCD display shows video preview, audio levels and settings right at the rack. 3D LUTs allow accurate color calibration of the HDMI monitor. The built-in speaker and 6.35 mm headphone output make quick checks easy without extra monitoring equipment.

Hybrid SDI and IP infrastructure

One 12G-SDI input with loop output works with SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD and 4K standards up to 2160p60. Two 10G BASE-T ports carry SMPTE-2110 video and 16 channels of embedded audio; PTP and NMOS support makes integration into a managed IP infrastructure simple.

Ten outputs for surround sound

The ten balanced XLR outputs can be used for surround listening with powered speakers. The level is controlled remotely and the delay can be set so the audio matches the picture on televisions and projectors. Power comes from the mains or via a 4-pin XLR 12V DC input.

Monitoring ready for grading and screening

Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G-10 provides color accurate monitoring for OLED televisions and multichannel surround listening with powered speakers. The ten channels of analog XLR output allow remote volume control and adjustable delay to match the sound of televisions and projectors.

The converter integrates SDI equipment into broadcast systems built on SMPTE ST-2110. The rack design can be installed right next to the equipment being converted; the PTP clock and NMOS allow control from a video router panel. Multi-rate 12G-SDI on a single BNC cable carries the supported HD and Ultra HD formats.
