Leading stereoscopic and visual effects studio, Legend3D, Inc., announced the deployment of hundreds of licenses of eyeon's latest Generation release. With an increasing popularity among the larger studios, and with several key technology advancements such as high frame rate playback, logical effects stacks, event scripting to support Legend3D's Nuke pipeline, and specific stereoscopic tools for both conversion and visual effects, eyeon Generation will soon become an integral part of Legend 3D's day-to-day workflow.

Autodesk announced that its Media & Entertainment (M&E) support and learning content for its 2014 product line is now live and available under Creative Commons (CC) licensing; that equates to 20,000 pages of documentation, 70 videos and 140 downloadable 3D asset files.

Eyeon Software announced shipping of EPP, eyeon’s latest solution to drive production efficiencies and productivity. EPP is an open source initiative that finetunes the production workflow in postproduction studios. EPP is available as a binary installer but also in source form as python scripts hosted at GitHub. Since EPP is released with an unrestrictive NewBSD license, everyone is invited to adapt, change, and contribute to this project.
