Blackmagic Design announced that DaVinci Resolve was used to grade some of the summer’s most anticipated films. Post houses around the globe rely on DaVinci Resolve to help them deliver outstanding results, including Company 3 and Color Collective.
Company 3, a Deluxe Creative Services company with facilities throughout the globe, used DaVinci Resolve for several major summer releases, including "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" graded by Shane Harris and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" graded by Stephen Nakamura.
Color Collective, a New York City based post production studio, handled color for a variety of Sundance favorites and indie hits set to be released this summer. Colorist Alex Bickel was responsible for grading “Land Ho!,” “Night Moves” and “Ping Pong Summer.”

Steinberg released a free trial version for its WaveLab 8.5 professional mastering suite and provides the final 8.0.4 maintenance update for the previous version, WaveLab 8. The WaveLab 8.5 trial version may be used for a period of 30 days and comes with the same functionality that the full version has to offer, including Watch Folders, Encoder Checker and Multi-Format rendering.
