Focusing is provided by a VCM mechanism – the silent VCM motor can precisely control movement and provides smooth and accurate focusing. The optical design consists of 15 elements in 11 groups, including 3 ED elements, 8 high refractive index elements, and one ultra-precision aspherical element. The front lens is coated with a high-quality HD nano multi-layer anti-reflective coating that is water-resistant and fingerprint-resistant.

The lens features an electronic diaphragm, internal focusing, and a constant length. It is compatible with a standard 77mm filter and is dust and water resistant. The USB-C interface allows for easy firmware updates.
