The Roland V-1-4K Video Switcher is a compact, versatile solution for live streaming and small productions, supporting up to UHD 4K60 HDR. The V-1-4K is a compact 4K video switcher for live events, houses of worship, conference rooms and livestreaming. Five HDMI inputs with scalers, four HDMI outputs, a multi-view and USB-C streaming up to 4K 60p are joined by a 14-channel audio mixer, PTZ camera control and remote control apps.

A scaler on every input

All five HDMI inputs have their own scaler, so you can switch seamlessly between HD and 4K 60p HDR sources. Five HDMI outputs including multi-view feed a main and a confidence monitor without a distribution amplifier.

Multiple shots from one camera

The ROI function crops up to four shots from a single 4K image: a wide shot of the stage, the speaking panel and close-ups of each speaker. Crops are set from a computer or an iPad.

Free 4K graphics

Graphics Presenter software for Windows adds titles, scores and motion graphics. A single HDMI cable carries both fill and key to the switcher, and the templates are free.

Plug-and-play streaming

The USB-C output connects to a computer just like a webcam. Plug it in and stream at up to 4K 60p with Zoom, Microsoft Teams or any platform that supports a standard webcam connection.

Flexible routing. Five inputs and six outputs (HDMI plus USB streaming). Besides program, preview and multi-view, outputs 3 and 4 can be assigned to any bus or input via 4K-to-HD downscalers.

Picture layers. Background, a PinP window and a DSK for titles and logos keep audiences engaged without extra hardware.

ROI crops on the buttons. Up to four shots from one 4K camera are assigned to input buttons and switched like separate cameras.

Plug in and stream. Connect a USB-C cable to the computer and the V-1-4K works as a webcam for Zoom, Microsoft Teams and streaming software.

PTZ cameras from the console. Built-in control of PTZ cameras from several brands at once; the V-1-4K Remote app on an iPad makes it even easier.

Audio mixing. 14 channels with high-pass filter, auto mixing, equalizers, compressor and a 15-band GEQ, routed to the main, aux 1 and aux 2 buses.

Assignable pads. Eight pads in four banks give direct access to 32 operations, from input routing and audio muting to Graphics Presenter control.

VenuSet. The iPadOS, Mac and Windows app lets integrators build panels tailored to the operator; it controls the switcher over LAN or USB.
