PRESS RELEASE
3. august 2020
Blackmagic Design, a manufacturer of professional equipment for the creation and post-production of audiovisual content, represented on the Czech and Slovak markets by Syntex, has introduced the ATEM Streaming Bridgeconverter for decoding live streams from ATEM Mini Pro series overheads to SDI and HDMI signals. This allows to create high quality IP video connections to workstations equipped with ATEM Mini Pro products and easily collaborate with content creators worldwide. The video stream from ATEM Mini Pro overheads offers significantly higher quality than conventional video conferencing software, and without any digital watermarks (logos of the streaming application manufacturers, etc.). ATEM Streaming Bridge will be on sale during August 2020 for 6.099 CZK excluding VAT.
ATEM Streaming Bridge is a dedicated converter for H.264 video streams from ATEM Mini Pro overheads to SDI and HDMI interfaces. This facilitates the transmission of video within local networks or globally over the internet. The H.264 video codec used guarantees high image quality at low bitrate. The ATEM Streaming Bridge therefore allows you to create a branched network of studios equipped with ATEM Mini Pro overheads and thus collaborate with e.g. bloggers or local news organizations. ATEM Software takes care of creating a configuration file that users can email to individual studios with ATEM Mini Pro overheads.
ATEM Mini overheads allow easy creation of professional corporate presentations using Skype or Zoom, or live shows for e.g. the YouTube platform using up to four camera inputs or the possibility to incorporate the output of a game console or computer into the show, e.g. a PowerPoint presentation. Built-in effects functions allow you to create blending effects or picture-in-picture shots, e.g. for the creation of continuously annotated videos. All models of the ATEM Mini series have a streaming output compatible with the ATEM Streaming Bridge and an HDMI output suitable for projection with projectors, for example. Microphone inputs allow the connection of microphones for recording interviews and commentary presentations.

Thenew generation of the "Pro" compact system for wireless transmission of up to 1080p60 video from small cameras and DSLR/DSLM devices (with HDMI interface) also adds direct Wi-Fi monitoring with up to three tablets/phones (or two mobile devices + monitor connected to the receiver) at a distance of approx. 90 m, a side OLED display, easier menu navigation with a rotary controller and the ability to update FW from the mobile app. Sold in "Standard" (internal antennas, lighter transmitter body) and "Enhanced" (transmitter with external antennas and more durable design) variants and as a standalone transmitter.

At the heart of the URSA Mini Pro 12K is Blackmagic Design's all-new proprietary 12K image sensor. Its development took three years in parallel with the Blackmagic RAW! The Super 35 size sensor does not use the standard Bayer CFA mask and features an equivalent number of pixels for each of the color channels, plus "W" pixels without a color filter for higher sensor light sensitivity, arranged in a 6x6 grid (6xR, 6xG, 6xB and 18xW). The result is perfect color rendition with smooth transitions including fantastic skin tones, without the typical artifacts of standard Bayer mask sensors (aliasing, moiré). The sensor has a native resolution of 12,288 x 6,480 pixels (79.6 MP!) and a sensitivity of eq. ISO 800
