Cameraman John Brawley shares new footage shot with the eagerly awaited Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K! The approximately five-minute spot of dramatic sunset footage was created from two hours of footage shot in 12K BRAW Q3 and edited using only the Extended Video LUT. Zeiss CP series lenses (15mm, 21mm and 135mm).

Directors Tommaso Pizzamiglio and Lorenzo Colombo filmed a new commercial for Mercedes using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K (except for the aerial shots, here the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone helped)! The camera was equipped with Leica R lenses, post-production of course in DaVinci Resolve (LUT correction BUTTERY Natural Rec709). Take a look behind the scenes in the following video:

Panasonic has introduced the new AK-UC33004K studio camera, featuring an 11MP 4K MOS S35-size sensor, support for HDR (HLG) and ITU-R BT.2020, 12G-SDI output, TICO technology for transmission of compressed 4K video over 3G-SDI interface as well as support for the next-generation IP video protocol SMPTE ST2110. Of course, there are technologies for compensating chromatic lens defects or fast sensor readout (1/100 sec.) to reduce image distortion when capturing fast motion (sports matches, etc.). On sale from Q4/2020.

Around October, Meike will launch the first cine lens in a new series for cameras with Super 35 sensors (33.6 mm circular projection): the Meike 35mm T2.1 S35 Cine Lens. The lens will be sold in EF and PL versions and will offer a T/2.1 aperture, a long focus ring travel with M0.8 gears, and high optical performance with minimal distortion, vignetting and "breathing". The price will be approximately $539.99 USD excluding VAT. The new S35 Prime series will also include models with focal lengths of 18mm, 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 105mm.
