Blackmagic Design today released several updates (incl. Blackmagic Video Assist 3.8 and Blackmagic RAW 2.7) centered around the new Blackmagic RAW recording support of Fujifilm X-H2 and ZCam E2, E2-M4, E2-S6 and E2-F6 cameras on Video Assist 12G HDR models. In addition to supporting new cameras, the 3.8 update also adds an upgraded RGB histogram to both Video Assist 12G HDR models. A new podcast about Grass Valley EDIUS X focuses on the unveiling of the 10.33 update at this year's IBC. The new features include native support for OpenFX plug-ins, as well as compatibility with current image format libraries from RED Digital Cinema cameras, Blackmagic Design, etc., and improved interoperability with Grass Valley's AMPP cloud platform.
