Panasonic launches new firmware for models LUMIX S5M2 (2.0) a S5M2X (1.1)! The first update brings the [Live View Composite] and [Video Repair] features, as well as new capabilities with the purchase of the optional DMW-SFU2 license key, including support for external recording to Blackmagic RAW (via HDMI) using Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR and Apple ProRes RAW via Atomos Ninja V+ and Ninja V recorders, respectively. Blackmagic Design have released a pair of updates for their video recorders and network storage devices respectively: HyperDeck 8.3.1 and Cloud Store 1.1.4 HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR, HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR a HyperDeck Shuttle HD, which implements support for username/password access over the network, a REST API for remote control, and improved responsiveness when using network drives.
