The DZOFilm Gnosis 24mm T2.8 Macro Prime combines a wide cine view with macro capability: it covers full-frame and VistaVision (83.8° FF / 88° VV), focuses from 155 mm, and offers 0.8× magnification. A 114 mm front, 300° manual focus, and interchangeable PL, EF, and LPL mounts support professional cine rigs.
Wide Angle, Close-Up
The Gnosis 24 mm T2.8 Macro Prime combines a wide-angle field of view with macro capability. It covers both full-frame and VistaVision formats, offering 83.8° for FF and 88° for VV, a minimum focusing distance of 155 mm, and 0.8× magnification.
It’s ideal for situations where detail needs to remain in the context of its surroundings—for tabletop, product, and creative wide-angle shots with space in the background.

Close-up Perspective
The 24 mm wide-angle focal length combines detail of the subject with more background space. That combination is the key strength of the 24mm Gnosis.

Compared with longer Gnosis focal lengths, 24 mm retains more background and perspective. Its wide field of view can connect fine subject detail with the surrounding space and convey more in a single shot.
The optical design—12 elements in 10 groups—along with the aluminum body and interchangeable PL, EF, and LPL mounts, is suited for professional cinematography.
