The new EW-DP range of digital UHF microports introduces an all-new EW-DP EK receiver body design with magnetic mounting/stacking, longer range (up to 50 m), lower latency (1.9 ms), improved battery life (up to 12 h for transmitter, 7 h for receiver), superior sound quality (dynamic range up to 134 dB, frequency range 20 Hz - 20 kHz, harmonic distortion max. -60 dB @ 1 kHz and 3 dBfs), OLED display, remote control via app and Bluetooth, power/charging of the receiver via USB-C bus, etc. Currently available receiver/transmitter sets with ME-2 omnidirectional lapel microphone (EW-DP ME2 SET) or set with EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter and MMD-835 cardioid dynamic insert (EW-DP 835 SET).
