DZOFILM Tango 65–280 mm T2.9–4 Cine Zoom, Metric (without Servo)

DZOFilm Tango 65–280mm is a parfocal Super 35 cine zoom for distant framing, documentary, sport and commercial production. It offers interchangeable PL and EF mounts, a 4.31× range, 0.8 MOD gears and compatibility with an optional MOVCAM servo unit, which is not included. Aperture is T2.9 from 65 to 200mm and T4 from 200 to 280mm; the lens maintains focus through zoom moves.

A parfocal telephoto zoom for sports, documentary, distant portraits and commercial work. Focus remains constant while changing focal length, allowing a zoom move without refocusing.

APERTURE, STATED PRECISELY

The lens is T2.9 from 65–200 mm and T4 from 200–280 mm, with T22 as its minimum aperture. It covers a 31.5 mm Super 35 image circle, uses a 16-blade iris and focuses as close as 1.1 m from the sensor plane. Its optical construction has 21 elements in 17 groups.

READY FOR CREW WORKFLOWS

The manual rings use 0.8 MOD gears: 270° focus, 100° zoom and 73.5° iris. Luminous metric markings remain readable in low light. An optional MOVCAM Servo enables remote control, but is not supplied with this model.
