An aluminium clamp that grips a tablet or a large phone between 105 and 240 mm wide and turns it into the rig’s monitor. The Tilta Multi-Functional Mounting Clamp for Apple iPad (TA-MMC-AI-B) turns a tablet into a proper monitor for the rig. It grips devices between 105 and 240 mm wide — from a large phone to a 12.9″ iPad Pro — and offers so many mounting options that you can stand it on a tripod, hang it off an articulating arm or clip it to a cage.

Anti-rotation 1/4″-20 threads

The back and the bottom carry 1/4″-20 threads with locating points that stop them turning. The clamp therefore sits firmly on most tripods and carries an articulating arm, a power bank holder or a drive holder without the rig loosening itself.

Dual-directional Arca-Swiss plate

The underside is an Arca-Swiss quick release plate in two directions. It drops into Arca-standard baseplates, tripod heads and other accessories and allows a precise 90° transition between landscape and portrait — so you turn the tablet upright without taking the rig apart.

Cold shoe receiver on top

On top there is a cold shoe receiver for a microphone, an on-board light or an extension bracket. The adjustment knob is offset relative to the receiver, so nothing gets in the way of the accessory up there and you can still reach it with the tablet mounted.

Extendable clamp on both sides

The clamp extends on both sides at once, so the tablet stays centred and the rig keeps its balance. Mounting takes a second: the locking lever does the coarse setting, the knob on top tightens it precisely.

Anti-slip rubber pads

The clamp meets the device at the top, the bottom and the back, and every contact face carries an anti-slip rubber pad. The tablet therefore sits more stably than in a two-edge holder and the aluminium never rubs against the display bezel.

Folds into a bag

The arms fold in and the clamp shrinks to 138.5 × 38 × 38 mm. At 180 grams it slips into a side pocket of a camera bag without repacking anything.

A tablet on the clamp works as a director’s monitor on set, as a teleprompter for a live stream or as a large preview for stills work. It earns its place in a car, on a tripod and on a camera cage alike.
