The Saramonic SG MS1 is an ultra-compact stereo condenser microphone for camera, field recording and music. Its Mid-Side configuration combines a directional main signal with spatial information, offering decoded L/R stereo, Raw M-S for post production or M/S mono. Stereo width, output mode and gain are controlled in the Saramonic app. The microphone works through 3-pin XLR, USB-C or 3.5 mm TRS and can be powered by 48 V phantom power, USB-C or its built-in battery for up to 5 hours.

ON CAMERA, WITHOUT COMPROMISE

The lightweight form stays unobtrusive on cameras and recording rigs. A 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response and adjustable stereo width help capture dialogue and ambience for documentary, reporting and location work.

MONITOR, RECORD, ADJUST

Choose decoded L/R stereo for a fast edit. Raw M-S preserves separate Mid and Side signals so stereo width can be adjusted in post production, while M/S mono supplies a focused center channel. Gain, output mode and stereo width are available in the Saramonic app.

ONE MIC, THREE ROUTES

The cardioid Mid capsule captures the source in front of the microphone, while the bi-directional Side capsule captures space. Combined, they create a natural stereo perspective adaptable to the scene.
