Nikon Shotgun Microphone ME-D10

The ME-D10 is an optional directional microphone that attaches to the digital accessories on the ZR.

The microphone is powered by ZR and supports professional 32-bit floating point audio recording. Select the microphone mode that suits your creative intentions—PURE mode for recording ambient sound "as is" and FOCUS mode, tailored to human voices.* For greater versatility, three directional pickup patterns are available—front, rear, or omnidirectional. The ME-D10 features a built-in shock mount and a large front indicator light that illuminates during video recording. The microphone comes with a special windscreen, digital stand cover, and case. 

*The frequency response for PURE mode is 40–20,000 Hz and for FOCUS mode 90–20,000 Hz. The sampling frequency/bit length when connected to the ZR is 48 kHz/24 bits, 48 kHz/32 bits float.
