Libec TH-Z

The new TH-Z lightweight tripod model is the successor to the Libec Allex series and also builds on the popular TH-X system, with an increased weight capacity of 5 kg (4 kg for the TH-X) and a total weight of 3.4 kg (3.1 kg for the TH-X). The compact fluid head of the TH-Z system is also sold separately and offers a dual mounting system for attachment to tripods with both a 75mm bowl and flat base. A "Snap On/Off" lock allows quick unlocking/locking of the plate, which is compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler systems. Sets with 40cm and 80cm ALX S sliders are also available.

The Libec TH-Z is a lightweight tripod system for cameras up to 5 kg: the compact TH-Z H fluid head, the two-stage TH-Z T legs with a 75 mm bowl and the RC-10 case. According to the maker it weighs 3.4 kg and adjusts from 71.5 to 161.5 cm.

Handle left or right

The head has serrations on both sides, so the pan handle goes right, left or both. One side can also take the AS-7K arm.

Level in the dark

The head’s bubble level is lit by an LED. The 75 mm ball in the tripod bowl speeds up levelling.

The TH-Z T legs have a 75 mm bowl that takes the TH-Z H as well as other 75 mm ball heads.

A head for sliders and dollies too

The dual base of the TH-Z H fits a 75 mm bowl and a flat base alike, so the head moves to a slider, a skater dolly or a photo tripod.

Tilt +90° to −80°

The head works from −20 to +60 °C.

Fixed counterbalance

Counterbalance and drag are fixed, nothing to tune.

Sliding plate

±30 mm travel, compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler heads.

RC-10 case

One-touch sliding plate. The plate attaches and releases in one touch and also fits Manfrotto and Sachtler heads.

Bowl clamp. Removing the spacer extends the insertion thread, so more equipment can be attached to the head.
