Libec TH-Z H (Head)

The TH-Z compact fluid head is also sold separately and offers a 5kg load capacity at 1.1kg and a dual mounting system for attaching to tripods with 75mm bowl or flat base. A "Snap On/Off" lock allows quick unlocking/locking of the plate, which is compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler systems and cameras with 1/4" pin thread. Offset range +/- 30 mm, tilt range +90° / -80°. On sale from 5/2019.

The Libec TH-Z H is the compact fluid head of the TH-Z tripod system, also sold separately. It carries cameras up to 5 kg, weighs 1.1 kg and its dual base fits a 75 mm bowl as well as a flat base. The bowl clamp is included.

Fixed counterbalance and drag, illuminated bubble level, serrations on both sides and a sliding plate compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler.

Handle left or right

Serrations on both sides take a pan handle on the right, the left or both. One side can also hold the AS-7K accessory arm.

Level in the dark

The bubble level is lit by an LED, so the head can be levelled in low light.

Tripod, slider and dolly

The dual base sits on a 75 mm bowl and on the flat base of sliders, skater dollies and photo tripods.

A one-touch plate

The sliding plate attaches and releases in one touch and follows the standard of Manfrotto and Sachtler heads and other Libec supports, so the camera moves across without rescrewing.

Tilt +90° to −80°

The head works from −20 to +60 °C.

±30 mm travel

The sliding plate helps balance the camera precisely.

Video pin

The plate holds the camera with a 1/4" screw and an anti-twist pin.

Longer bowl thread

Removing the spacer from the bowl clamp lengthens the thread.

Sliding plate. The plate attaches and releases in one touch and also fits Manfrotto and Sachtler heads.

Bowl clamp. Removing the spacer extends the insertion thread, so more equipment can be attached to the head.

Counterbalance chart. The chart from the maker’s page shows which camera weight the head balances depending on the height of the centre of gravity above the plate.
