Feelworld FW703

A 7-inch on-camera monitor with a 1920×1200 IPS panel at 450 cd/m². It has both a 3G-SDI and a 4K HDMI input and output, so it does not only show the signal but passes it on to another monitor or recorder. Peaking, zebra, false colours and custom 3D LUTs are on board, and it runs on Sony F970 batteries — the plate is in the box.

The FW703 is an on-camera monitor with a 7-inch 16:10 IPS panel. It has both a 3G-SDI and a 4K HDMI input and output, so it does not only show the signal but passes it on to another monitor or recorder. It suits any setup where the picture has to be visible in two places at once.

Colours calibrated to Rec.709

The panel is calibrated to the Rec.709 film standard, so the colours on the monitor match what you will see in post. You can also load your own 3D LUT and preview the finished look right on set.

Focus and exposure tools

Peaking highlights the edges in focus in red, green or blue, zebra shows clipping across 1–100 IRE and false colours turn brightness into a colour map. On top of that a brightness histogram, per-channel check field, anamorphic mode and waveform. It is all driven by four buttons under the display.

Runs on a battery or from the mains

A plate for Sony F970-series batteries is in the box, so the monitor runs on its own with no cable to a socket. Consumption stays under 9 W and the 6.5–24 V input range also copes with power taken from the camera. The battery itself is not included.
